WorkSafe Victoria lays charges over camper's death
Charges have been laid against a Victorian accommodation business following an incident in which a falling tree branch fatally crushed a camper in March 2021.
The company faces two charges under the Victorian OHS Act for failing to ensure the workplace was safe and without risks.
WorkSafe accuses the company of failing to take measures to reduce the risk of that branch falling and causing serious injury or death.
