WorkSafe Vic investigating fatal fall at grain depot

WorkSafe Victoria is investigating a fall after a driver fell from the top of a truck and died a week ago.

WorkSafe said a handrail failed as the man was closing hatches on top of the truck's grain container, causing him to fall.  He sustained serious head injuries during the incident at a grain depot in Maffra. 

The 60-year-old man was transported to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries a day later.
