WorkSafe to visit workplaces during national safe work month
WorkSafe Victoria will visit workplaces across the State during this year’s National Safe Work Month to raise awareness of workplace health and safety.
Workplace mental health, hazardous manual tasks, rights of migrant workers and drugs and alcohol in the workplace are some of the topics to be addressed.
WorkSafe Chief Executive Colin Radford said national safe work month is a time to focus on workplace health and safety.
"Protecting workers from physical and psychological harm is the most important part of any business, which is why we've dedicated a month to tour the state and deliver our message to as many Victorians as possible," Mr Radford said.
