WorkSafe prosecutes company and director over serious head injury to worker

Victoria's safety watchdog is prosecuting a Gippsland company and its sole director after a worker suffered a serious head injury when he was struck by a pipe.

The company and the director face charges under the OHS Act for exposing a worker to a serious risk of injury and failing to provide a safe workplace.

The filing hearing will take place at Latrobe Valley Magistrates' Court on 28 February 2023.
