WorkSafe probes fatal workplace incident

WorkSafe is investigating a fatal workplace incident in Carnegie.

A 39-year-old man was fatally injured after being run over by a car on Wednesday.

WorkSafe said the man was “inspecting a stormwater drain when he was run over by a resident who was attempting to park their car”

So far this year, 36 Victorians have suffered fatal work injuries.
