WorkSafe probes fatal collision between truck and train

Victoria’s workplace safety watchdog has launched an investigation after a driver was killed when his truck collided with a train on Tuesday afternoon.

WorkSafe said the truck was towing a low loader trailer in Geelong when the vehicle became stuck on a level crossing.

Sixty-one Victorian workers have died on the job this year, according to WorkSafe data.
