WorkSafe opens investigation after jockey dies in race fall

WorkSafe has launched an investigation after a jockey died in a racing incident last week.

The man, 34, fell from his horse, northwest of Melbourne, on Monday afternoon.

He died at the scene.

WorkSafe said 16 Victorian workers have died on the job so far this year.
