WorkSafe launches new infographics highlighting psychosocial hazards in high-risk industries

WorkSafe has created infographics addressing psychosocial risks prevalent in high-risk industries such as construction, manufacturing, forestry and agriculture, in addition to those risks impacting all workers across New Zealand.

The safety regulator alerts businesses to their responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act, which include the management of both physical and psychosocial risks.

According to WorkSafe, these infographics enable businesses to readily access and interpret information regarding psychosocial risks that are significant to their sector.

“Sharing information like this is part of our engagement function, to empower businesses and workers to improve health and safety practice,” WorkSafe said.
