WorkSafe investigation into fatal Tasmania jumping castle incident still ongoing
A WorkSafe Tasmania investigation into the deaths of six children at a primary school in Devonport is continuing.
The children died after a strong wind lifted a jumping castle into the air in December 2021.
WorkSafe Executive Director and Work Health and Safety Regulator Robyn Pearce said she is aware that the public was eagerly waiting for the safety watchdog to conclude its probe.
"We want to reassure families and the community that WorkSafe Tasmania is doing everything we can to expedite the processes while ensuring we maintain the integrity of what is a complex and wide-reaching investigation," she said.
WorkSafe Tasmania is conducting investigations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2012.
