WorkSafe investigating farm death near Beverley
Western Australia’s occupational health and safety watchdog has launched an investigation after a 68-year-old man was killed in a farm incident near Beverley on Tuesday.
The man suffered fatal injuries after reportedly being struck by machinery.
“Our investigators examine the circumstances of incidents with a view to ensuring compliance and preventing future incidents of a similar nature,” WorkSafe WA said in a statement.
In June this year, WorkSafe launched an inquiry into safety in the agricultural sector after the 12th fatality in a year.
