WorkSafe investigates two fatal workplace incidents

Victoria has recorded two separate work-related deaths in one day, taking the state's workplace fatality toll to nine for 2022.

A 53-year-old crane operator died after being crushed by steel beams in Dandenong South about 11:15 am on Friday morning.

Less than three hours later, a 56-year-old worker died after a tractor-spreader combination he was operating overturned in Kyabram.

WorkSafe is investigating both incidents.
