WorkSafe investigates fatal workplace incident at Northland

WorkSafe is probing the death of a worker at a Northland company.

The man in his 70s sustained fatal injuries in an incident involving a work knife on Thursday night.

Police and paramedics were called to the incident just after 9.45pm.

Paramedics were unable to save the elderly worker and he was declared dead at the scene.
