WorkSafe confirms probe into fatal workplace incident at Jandakot

Western Australia’s workplace health and safety regulator has confirmed it has launched an investigation into the death of a worker at a steel company in Jandakot.

WorkSafe said the man was fatally struck by a steel beam on Wednesday morning.

“WorkSafe investigators examine the circumstances of incidents with a view to ensuring compliance and preventing future incidents of a similar nature,” the safety agency said in a statement.
