WorkSafe Awards winners will be announced next month

WorkSafe is set to reveal the winners of its annual workplace health and safety awards at a ceremony scheduled to take place at the Park Hyatt Melbourne on February 27.

According to WorkSafe, a total of 21 finalists have been selected from nearly 150 nominations across six award categories for the 2024 WorkSafe Awards, which recognise efforts in occupational health and safety as well as return-to-work initiatives.

WorkSafe CEO Joe Calafiore expressed his admiration for the remarkable diversity of workplaces and individuals at this year’s event.

"Our finalists come from a wide range of industries including construction, education, healthcare and more," Mr Calafiore said.

"It's wonderful to see advancements in workplace health and safety happening right across the board."
