Workplace deaths soar past 100

Latest Safe Work Australia data shows 106 people have been killed at work so far this year. 

Transport, postal & warehousing industry leads with 42 fatalities, followed by Agriculture, forestry & fishing with 22 fatalities. The Construction industry comes third with 12 fatalities.

The Manufacturing industry has recorded seven fatalities, Public administration & safety six fatalities and Electricity, gas, water & waste services five fatalities.
