Worker’s leg trapped in machinery in far north Queensland

A man has been seriously injured in a workplace incident in far north Queensland.

The man reportedly became trapped in machinery while working in Portsmith on Tuesday afternoon.

He was transported to Cairns hospital with serious leg injuries.

WorkSafe Queensland will investigate the cause of the incident.
