Worker missing, four hospitalised after Melbourne factory fire

A factory worker is missing and two others have been taken to hospital after a huge blaze engulfed a Melbourne factory on Friday afternoon.

Dozens of firefighters battled the blaze for close to nine hours before bringing it under control.

Fire Rescue Victoria confirmed one factory worker was missing after the blaze.

Two firefighters who sustained minor injuries while tackling the blaze were transported to the Alfred hospital.
