Worker killed on Western Australian farm

A farm worker was killed in Western Australia's Wheatbelt region on Saturday afternoon.

Emergency crews were notified of a work-related incident around 12:30pm in Merredin, approximately 260 kilometers north-east of Perth.

St John WA said two ambulance teams were dispatched to the scene; however, upon their arrival, a 63-year-old man was pronounced dead.

WorkSafe has launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
