Worker killed in Taranaki farm incident

A person has been killed in a suspected work-related incident at a Taranaki farm on Saturday morning.

According to police, emergency services were dispatched to a property in Auroa, South Taranaki, shortly before 9am.

When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they discovered a man with severe injuries.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police said WorkSafe will be informed.
