Worker injured on the job at Christchurch

A person sustained injuries in a workplace incident in Christchurch on Tuesday morning.

Emergency services rushed to a business in Bromley just after 9:30am due to reports of an injury.

Hato Hone St John confirmed they deployed a rapid response unit and an ambulance to the scene.

According to a spokesperson, one person was transported to Christchurch Hospital in critical condition.
