Worker hospitalised after industrial incident

A quarry worker is recovering in hospital after being injured in an industrial incident in the Gympie Region last week.

Paramedics were called to Scotchy Pocket around 8.15am on Tuesday morning.

The man in his 20s was treated at the scene before being flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
