Worker hospitalised after getting caught in machinery in horrific workplace incident at Salisbury

A man was transported to the hospital following a work-related incident in south-east Queensland.

The man in his 40s got stuck in equipment at Salisbury on Tuesday morning.

Emergency services said four teams were dispatched to the location, where the man's arms became entangled in industrial machinery.

The man received treatment for severe arms and chest injuries before being transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in serious condition.

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland is aware of the incident.
