Worker fatally hit by towing vehicle at Sydney airport

A worker sustained fatal injuries after being struck by a towing vehicle at a Sydney airport on Sunday morning.

At about 10:30 AM, emergency services were summoned to the scene due to reports of an injured freight handler.

The man in his 40s sustained severe injuries to both his head and chest and could not be resuscitated, according to NSW Ambulance.

The authorities concerned are conducting an investigation into the incident.
