Worker dies, another sustains injuries at central Queensland mine

A worker has been fatally injured and another is reported to be in stable condition after a mining incident in central Queensland.

Paramedics were summoned to the scene of the incident near Tieri on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Queensland Ambulance Service, an assessment was conducted on two patients.

Resources Safety and Health Queensland has said it is currently conducting an investigation into the incident,
