Woman pinned by ride-on lawn mower in Queensland

A woman has been injured after being trapped under a ride-on lawn mower in South East Queensland.

The woman in her 60s was mowing grass at a property in the Sunshine Coast region when she plunged down an embankment.

The woman landed in a ditch and became trapped under the lawn mower on Wednesday afternoon.

She was freed and treated at the scene before being flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital by the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter.
