Woman killed in Gippsland farm incident

A woman has succumbed to her injuries sustained while working with a silage wrapper on a farm in Gippsland, on Wednesday.

Reports indicate the 47-year-old was engaged in work alone when she was located beneath the machinery by fellow workers.

She was airlifted to a hospital but later passed away due to her injuries.

WorkSafe has initiated an investigation.
