Woman in critical condition following workplace incident in Victoria

A woman sustained critical injuries in a workplace incident on Friday morning.

Ambulance Victoria reported that a woman in her fifties sustained severe injuries to her lower body and was airlifted to Royal Melbourne Hospital in critical condition.

Reports indicate she was caught underneath a metal coil.

Emergency crews responded to a business in Hastings on the Mornington Peninsula around 10:20am.

WorkSafe is probing the incident.
