Woman flown to hospital after bull attack in south west Queensland

The LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) helicopter was tasked to a property south-west of Roma to treat and airlift a woman after she was attacked by a bull on Wednesday afternoon.

The woman in her 40s suffered lower body injuries after being crushed by the animal.

The rescue chopper landed at the scene just before 4pm and worked with Ambulance paramedics to treat the injured woman.

She was flown to Roma Airport by the rescue chopper and later transported to Roma Hospital by ambulance.
