Woman airlifted by LifeFlight following incident involving horse

OHS Daily News

A woman has been flown to a hospital after she sustained injuries in a horse-related incident in south-east Queensland.

Reports indicate that the woman, in her thirties, was struck by a horse on Friday afternoon, resulting in injuries to her chest and leg.

The LifeFlight helicopter was activated at 2:35pm, landing in a nearby paddock.

The LifeFlight crew collaborated with paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) to administer treatment to the patient.

The woman was later airlifted to Toowoomba Base Hospital to be treated for her injuries.
