Winners of the 2024 farm safety calendar competition announced

Safety messages like wearing a helmet on a quad bike, being cautious around electrical equipment, and washing hands after handling animals will be included in the 2025 Farm safety calendar.

A total of twelve children from different parts of Queensland have been recognised as winners in this year's calendar competition. Notable entries include those from Mount Isa School of the Air and Cairns School of Distance Education, in addition to other schools in regional Queensland.

This year saw over 1500 entries, bringing the total number of entries to over 12,000 throughout the competition's history.

Minister for Industrial Relations, Grace Grace, stated her delight in announcing the winners whose artistic creations will be highlighted in the 2025 Farm Safety Calendar.

"It's always a pleasure to see the effort and thought that has gone into making these artworks," Ms Grace said.
