WA meat processing company charged following fatal workplace incident

OHS Daily News

WorkSafe has charged a meat processing company following the death of a worker at its site, south-east of Perth, two years ago.

The firm faces allegations of not providing and sustaining a secure working environment, leading to the unfortunate demise of a worker.

The preliminary hearing is set to take place in the Katanning Magistrates Court on February 4, 2025.
