Video focuses on vehicle-related incidents at NSW mine sites

The NSW Resources Regulator has launched a video campaign to help prevent vehicle incidents and near misses at mine sites.

The video highlights a specific incident at a coal mine in Muswellbrook, where an operator suffered multiple fractures in his hand and a head injury that needed 52 stitches after 2 haul trucks crashed.

Notably, vehicle-related incidents ranked as the second-most prevalent cause of deaths at NSW mine sites in the last ten years.

Regulator says it remains committed to collaborating with all stakeholders to enhance safety measures and guarantee the well-being of all individuals involved.
