Vic nurse faces charges after allegedly working with COVID-19

A Victorian nurse faces charges under the OHS Act after allegedly working at an aged care facility after testing positive for COVID-19.

WorkSafe says the nurse worked at the aged care facility between 26 July 2020 and 2 August 2020.

The safety regulator alleges that the nurse breached section 32 of the OHS Act and section 25(1)(b) of the same Act by attending work after returning a positive PCR test.

The nurse will appear in court on 7 September.
