Two workers tragically lost their lives in separate incidents during the weekend, prompting an investigation by WorkSafe.

The first incident happened on Friday at a Kellalac farm near Warracknabeal, where a 61-year-old farmer was fatally injured while loading grain into a truck. The farmer was struck on the head by a mobile auger.

On Saturday, another unfortunate incident unfolded at a concrete yard in Dandenong South, resulting in the death of a 52-year-old truck driver.
