Two mechanics killed in auto repair incident on the Sunshine Coast

Two mechanics have died in hospital after they were struck by a vehicle while working on a broken-down bus at Woombye in Queensland.

A 25-year-old Currimundi man and a 22-year-old Baringa man were transported to hospital with serious injuries following the incident on Thursday afternoon.

They died a short time later.

Workplace Health and Safety QLD is investigating the circumstances of the incident.
