Two firefighters injured tackling house fire in Levin

Two firefighters suffered injuries while working to contain a house fire in Levin on Saturday afternoon.

Fire crews were called to Liverpool St. following reports of a massive blaze.

Police said they received information about the fire at around 4.30 pm.

One firefighter was taken to Palmerston North hospital, while another was treated at the scene.

The unoccupied house suffered extensive damage following the blaze.
