Two businesses damaged in truck roll-away incident east of Adelaide

Two businesses have been damaged in a truck roll-away incident east of Adelaide on Wednesday morning.

The unoccupied truck crashed into two businesses after rolling more than 200 metres in the Adelaide Hills.

SafeWork SA is investigating.

The incident comes days after South Australia’s workplace safety watchdog issued a warning about vehicle roll-away risks in workplaces.

SafeWork SA said three workers have been fatally struck by roll-away vehicles in the past three years.
