Truckie killed in collision at Brimbago

A truckie has lost his life following a collision between his B-double vehicle and a tree in South Australia.

Shortly after 11pm on Wednesday, emergency services responded to Brimbago following reports indicating that a B-double had struck a tree.

Despite the diligent efforts of paramedics, the 49-year-old man from Smithfield Plains succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Officers from the Major Crash unit visited the scene to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
