Truckie killed in a collision involving B-double truck at Grosvenor

A truckie has succumbed to injuries sustained in a rollover incident west of Hervey Bay.

The man was behind the wheel of a B-double truck that hit a tree and overturned off the Burnett Highway in Grosvenor on Wednesday morning.

According to Queensland Ambulance Services, paramedics arrived to find the man in a critical condition, having sustained life-threatening injuries.

He could not be resuscitated and was pronounced deceased shortly thereafter.

The Forensic Crash Unit is probing into the factors related to the crash.
