NSW Minister for Regional Transport and Roads Sam Farraway said the State Government is committed to reducing road injuries and fatalities on country roads.

“Country people make up around a third of NSW’s population but over the past five years deaths on country roads made up 67 percent of our road toll,” Mr Farraway said.

NHVR CEO Sal Petroccitto urged road users to be on the lookout for the signs that can help keep everyone safe on the road.
