Traffic controller dies after being struck by truck on VIC highway

A traffic controller sustained fatal injuries after being struck by a truck in western Victoria.

The incident occurred around 6pm on Thursday as the man was engaged in traffic control for road maintenance at Nhill.

He sustained severe injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
