Three people flown to hospital following quad bike crash in New Zealand

Three individuals are being treated in the hospital following a quad bike crash in Tarawera early last week.

A group was travelling to a remote area on quad bikes Sunday night when one of the bikes flipped over.

The three quad bike occupants were hurled down a 40-metre cliff, resulting in injuries of varying severity.

Two rescue choppers were sent to the scene to treat and airlift the injured to the hospital.
