Teen injured in fuel drum explosion at Victorian school

A fuel drum has exploded, injuring a male student in eastern Victoria.

The teen suffered serious chest injuries during the Wednesday morning incident.

Police, firefighters and ambulance paramedics attended the scene.

The teenage boy was flown to the Royal Children's Hospital for treatment.

Ambulance Victoria said the boy was transported in a stable condition.
