OHS Daily News

A teenage girl was flown to the hospital by the LifeFlight rescue helicopter after sustaining a leg injury from a horse kick on Monday morning.

Around 7am, the rescue chopper was assigned to a private property in the Shire of McKinlay.

The flight paramedic joined forces with local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics to administer care for the injury.

The patient was subsequently transported to Mt Isa Hospital, where she was reported to be in stable condition.
