Tasmanian worker killed in ride-on mower incident

A worker has died following a ride-on lawn mower incident in Tasmania.

Emergency crews attended the scene south-west of Burnie shortly before 5pm on Monday.

They found the man under the lawn mower, according to police.

The man in his 30s died at the scene.

WorkSafe Tasmania is conducting an investigation into the circumstances that led to the fatal incident.
