Tasmanian motorists urged to slow down to protect roadworkers

Tasmania police are reminding motorists to observe speed limits in work zones to protect road workers.

The reminder comes after two drivers were caught speeding in road work areas on Monday.

"Police urge motorists to obey all speed signs, particularly in road-work related areas, and keep our road-workers safe. Pay attention and plan ahead for road-works," Tasmania police said in a statement.
