SafeWork SA wraps up falls awareness campaign

Safework Australia says only one notifiable serious injury associated with a fall was reported during their ‘April No-Falls’ safety campaign.

The campaign was launched on 31 March 2022 and aimed to raise awareness of the dangers of working at height.

SafeWork SA kept on releasing information, data and advice on fall prevention throughout the campaign period.

SafeWork SA Executive Director Martyn Campbell said the safety awareness campaign was “a real success.”

“Given the decrease in falls during this campaign, I urge industry to maintain their vigilance in managing the risk of falls, as any fall from height can be a life changing event to a person and their family,” said Mr Campbell.
