SafeWork SA urges businesses to prepare for Safe Work Month

With National Safe Work Month around the corner, SafeWork SA is urging businesses to take part in activities that promote workplace health and safety during October.

More than 100 Australian workers died on the job in 2020, including 11 from South Australia.

This year’s theme is ‘Know safety, work safe,’ with weekly themes including mental health, injuries at work and WHS risk management.

A number of public events, including webinars and a mock trial, have been planned for National Safe Work Month. The mock trial is scheduled for 19 October at the Burnside Ballroom.
