SafeWork SA seeks public feedback on Health and Safety Representatives
SafeWork SA is seeking public input on the role of Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) in South Australian workplaces.
The safety agency is requesting workers, employers, and HSRs to participate in a SafeWork SA Engagement survey to help SafeWork SA and employers understand how they can support HSRs.
SafeWork SA Executive Director Glenn Farrell said HSRs play an important role in promoting workplace health and safety.
‘I am committed to building on the important role HSRs have at a workplace and to ensure they are supported to fulfil their function effectively to improve the health and safety for all,’ he said.
‘Your contribution towards shaping South Australia’s HSR strategy through this short survey is greatly appreciated.’
The survey closes on 31 October 2023.
