SafeWork SA releases new safety information sheet to help minimise mobile plant risks in construction

South Australia's workplace safety watchdog has released a new safety information sheet to minimise mobile plant risks in the construction industry.

The South Australian Construction Safety Alliance (SACSA) and SafeWork SA have collaborated to develop a safety essentials flyer on workplace mobile plant risks that will be posted on members' worksites.

SafeWork SA said "While this initiative is targeted primarily at the construction industry, working with or around mobile plant is a potential risk at any workplace with mobile plant."

"During construction, mobile plant, such as multi-purpose tool carriers, elevating work platforms, delivery vehicles, earth moving equipment, prime movers and cranes, have the potential to seriously injure or kill people if they collide with them."
